British Fashion Council - Kojey Radical

I had the honour of photographing at the esteemed British Fashion Council Awards, an evening that brought together trailblazers in fashion, art, music and culture. The event was hosted by the incredible Kojey Radical alongside Maya Jama, two powerful voices shaping the creative landscape in the UK. Being present behind the scenes allowed me to document the elegance, energy and raw emotion of the night, from red carpet arrivals to the intimate, unscripted moments between guests. As a photographer deeply committed to capturing Black British excellence and cultural representation, this opportunity was particularly meaningful. The atmosphere was not only celebratory, but a reflection of shifting narratives in the fashion world, where authenticity, heritage and diversity are finally being recognised. It was a joy to document this moment in history and add it to my ongoing exploration of identity, culture and community through photography.
