Yuh From Farin

Yuh From Farin is an ongoing photographic and storytelling series exploring the lives, identities, and layered experiences of Jamaicans living abroad. Rooted in curiosity, connection, and cultural memory, the project documents the voices of those who carry Jamaica with them, across oceans, time zones, and generations. Through portraits, conversations, and quiet moments, Yuh From Farin reflects on the tensions and tenderness of diasporic identity: what it means to belong, to be distant yet deeply rooted, and to live in the in-between. This work is both a love letter and a reckoning, acknowledging how heritage continues to shape lives, even far from home.
